practice run of ovulation strips

Hi ladies,

I'm practicing ovulation strips so when we start tcc I will hopefully know what I'm doing haha, I'm currently cd13 and I still haven't had even a faint line. What day are you expected to ovulate with a 28 day cycle? Xx

I think it's any time around CD12-16 for a 28-day cycle xx

Make sure you keep testing though; I have a 28 day cycle and assumed O was cd 14, turns out it's 18/19! Keep going xx

Thank you bethyboo am I meant to be.testing in the afternoon or morning? I did read somewhere that it's best in the afternoon xx

Yeah I think afternoon is better. I have a drink just before lunch and then nothing till I've tested at around 3pm-ish xx

Thank you I tested yesterday and got a faint pink line so Guna keep.testing for next couple of days xx

Don't forget they're different to pregnancy tests - line might not get gradually darker - it might be faint, then dark-ish, then nothing, then BAM - positive all of a sudden! xx
