Is it possible to ovulate as late as CD17 on a 29-30 day cycle?

Hi there,

Once we start using ovulation kits next year I won't need to ask this type of question but I'm not sure what day I currently ovulate- I assumed it was CD14 but is it possible it could be as late as D17?

14 days is just the standard based on a 28 day cycle. The fact you are having a 30 day cycle will make it pretty normal to ovulate on day 17 :)

The good thing is you are ovulating :)

My cycles used to be 28 days but were slightly longer (29/30) when they started again after having my son, and on my first cycle - which I think was 30 days - I ovulated on CD17. As Mamafy said, ovulation on CD14 is based on a standard 28 day cycle with a 14 day luteal phase (between ovulation and the first day of the next period), but luteal phase lengths can vary for different people too

I think I o around CD 15-17 with a 29 day cycle, or I was before the mc...

sounds pretty normal to me hun. Saying that i O'd on CD86 when i conceived my son lol xx
