Potty training

Hi , my son is 2 and a half and has absolutely no interest In potty training .. At his dads he has told me he has been using a potty but at home he won't go anywhere near it , he gets hysterical if I try even show him it .. Any tips or advice ? Tia

Hi, I tried potty training my LO on and off for the past year with no success- he got upset at the idea of underpants and cried when he didn't have a nappy on. A few days after his 3rd birthday in July I just went cold turkey and he was dry within a day! A month on and he is weeing standing up without my support. Maybe your LO just need needs a few more months to get used to the idea? I would leave the potty out and have some nappy free time when you're at home xx
