Hi ladies, it's been ages since I logged on here! I've seen there's a fresh April 2015 mummies thread which I'll try and reply to shortly as I was one although my daughter came in May.
So, my LG turns two in May, for about 3 weeks previous to this one I'd been taking her clothes off for "nakie time" at 3pm ish and letting her run naked around bath and dinner time until bed and getting her to use the potty which she's be great at. This Monday I decided to be brave and put her in knickers and she's been fab. Totally dry all day no accidents, she's a star... but Tuesday evening I noticed her poo was a bit runny not really watery but runny you know. My mum had her Wednesday and she had diarrhea but made it to the potty in time. This morning she had a little poo which was normal but tonight she said she had a tummy pain then lots of diarrhea, thankfully she warned me of the pain so i put her on the toilet instead of potty. She's off her food a bit but fine in herself, is this just a normal tummy bug? Or something weird to do with potty training? We've been so lucky and while she'll have had 6 or so colds she's never had a tummy bug. She washes her hands and I always clean the potty properly. When do I need to ring the Dr?
Edited to add.. I think I'll ring the Dr in the morning, her tummy is hard and big and while she's perfectly fine in herself I'm a worrier. She's my first and I've no experience of tummy bugs in kids so I'd rather ask. Especially since we live on a farm and she's been playing with lambs. I always wash her hands but I'd rather be safe and call. But any advice would be well received
