Hello Ladies!
I have been googling implantation bleeding over the weekend, so I'm pretty clued up on what it is.....just not that sure if I am experiencing it, so I thought I'd ask the voices of experience on here! :D

I already have a beautiful DD who is one year old. I am still breastfeeding her and because of this my periods took ages to come back. I had my DD January 08 and I had my first period 16th November 08 - it was perfectly normal (and a welcome site, believe it or not, as I knew my body was returning to some normality!) I had my next period on 1st January this year - it was normal as well, albeit 2 weeks later than my cycles used to be, but I know that my body is still adjusting.

I have no idea when I ovulated, but my hubby to be (getting wed next week!) did the BD last weekend (been too busy with little one and wedding arrangments to do it more than that !TMI  ) On Sat 31st Jan I started brown spotting- very very light -I don't really need to wear a towel, but I am- it's so unlike my normal period. I am bloated, exhausted (though could be stress) and I think my BBS are bigger, though it's hard to tell as I'm still BF. I would love to be PG as my hubby to be and I are hoping to try asap after the wedding, but I won't be too disappointed if i'm not because of the wedding & honeymoon.

What do you ladies think? Anyone had funny periods whilst breastfeeding like mine? Or has anyone had implantation bleeding?

Hi ya

I had IB with my DD and it was as you described.

My LMP was also 1st Jan and I was using the ovulations sticks and I ovulated the weekend before last. So you could just be having slighter longer cycles where your body is adjusting.

Your symptoms sound promising though. Maybe wait until the weekend and test if AF hasn't arrived.

Good luck

Aw, thank you Tina! Trying not to get too excited at the moment...it's hard though- becoming a mother is such a magical journey and I already know i am very lucky to have my beautiful daughter Belle. Here's hoping

Are you TTC?

It's hard not get excited :D

Yes I am ttc; I'm currently 9 dpo; so testing this weekend

Take care and good luck

welcome fairybelle!! what a lovely name!!

as u are unsure when u ovulated u may not know when to test to get an accurate result. the spermies can survive up to about 5 days so add that to the date u bd to give u the lastest u could have ovulated and still conceived. Your luteal phase (the stage between ovulation and expected af) will be on average 14 days. you should be able to get a pretty accurate result from around day 10 depending on what sort of test you use. so add 15 days to the day u bd'd and if af has not turned up test then!!!

hope that made sense!!

good luck, fingers crossed!
