how long does it last? Or any tips to make it go quicker?

:(

what do you mean by depersonalisation?

I don't think I had PND as such but I had terrible depresson for a week or so about 2 weeks after giving birth. Couldn't stop crying and nothing could cheer me up.
Don't lknow what I would have done if it had carried on.

Didnt you say that you had a very complicated birth? If so you could be suffering with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder rather than PND. Some doctors can incorrectly diagnose PND instead of PTSD and then when you take anti-depressants for PND the side effects can be depersonalisation (living in a dream like state). I am of course no expert, just wondering if this could be the case???

I am living in a dream like state. You could be right x
