I am happy baby is constantly moving, but this week (im 31 weeks) shes constantly moving loads and so strong its killing me! my ribs are agony and sometimes belly hurts feels bruised!

Hi hun, your not the only one, im having twins and movement is constant jabs and I feel very bruised round my belly button and up top where their kicks are. Xxx

I was sat in the car for around six hours on Sunday and baby didn't stop moving the entire time. By the time we got home home I felt battered and bruised!

I am sure sure that being sat in the same position for so long didn't help.

yes! its when im sitting in my chair at work (uncomfortably) for 9 hours a day she doesn't stop! Bring on maternity leave

I can totally relate. Im a bit run down with other stuff at the minute but when baby moves and scrapes his limbs around my inside it feels like it makes me bleed inside. Honestly I know its a miracle and i'm so lucky, especially as im in the middle of a preterm labour scare but yea it really really hurts. In the space of a day yesterday (i was in hospital so reguarly examined) baby went head down, breech and back to transverse. He's literally somersaulting and the pain is just awful.
I understand i promise xx

Embrace it ladies :) I don't feel all movements due to anterior placenta.... You'll miss it once the babies are here ;)

i was the same with the placenta for a while but somehow i can feel baby constantly! i kniw id freak out if it stopped so i need to stop moaning.but cant help it lol. i have new respect for mums/pregnant women...3rd trimester has been quite hard!

My baby is a big one and I feel so big already. My stomach feels really stretched and every time he kicks and moves I feel like he's going to burst out like something out of alien!!

Ditto littlemonkey and bigbee I have an anterior but haven't missed out except perhaps seeing clear limb shapes as placenta cushioning it but can deffo feel her and have done since week 19/20...I love the hiccups atm as they remind me of first kicks at 19weeks plus OH can defo feel them as its involuntary whereas other movements she makes she stops when OH puts his hand there lol...Haven't felt bruised yet but Im sure the longer I go the more I'll feel, sometimes her jerky movements from side to side make me go 'oomph' but more in surprise than pain...

Another with an anterior placenta but it's def not working as a cushion anymore they are fighting their way through it! Baby is breech so it's more being headered in the ribs, I randomly get a big ball shape and lots of pressure pushing upwards.
I was saying to OH the other day that it feels like it's going to come out in a massive bruise.

Bless ya, I find it funny in the mornings when have been lying on one side then go to lie on back and if lean forward slightly (using my stomach muscles) I see three clear mounds in a backwards C shape on my right side (proving that shes ROA)...also if get braxton hicks at that moment too my stomach stays that way for 3mins and is v funny, OH finds it hilarious the weird n wonderful shapes...

Definitely not alone, my LO battered me from the inside constantly. I'm sure he bruised my ribs and you could see the shapes of his fists and feet as they attempted to burst through my skin.

I absolutely did not miss it once he was here, it was an absolute relief to not feel bruised and achy constantly. Yes, it was reassuring that he was an active, healthy baby but I don't miss the pain at all. This other baby is a mover and shaker too by the feel of it, I've been having strong movements since 17/18 weeks and am feeling it slightly on the outside already, despite having an anterior placenta. I most definitely dread the time when this little one also runs out of space!
