PLEASE HELP! CONTRACTIONS JUST STOPPED!!!

Yesterday I was in the hospital for about 6 hours due to contractions that were 2 minutes long every 8 minutes. Then out of nowhere everything just slows down and suddenly stops!!! Now I'm sitting here disappointed and upset because I really thought it was time, this is my fourth baby so I know what labor feels like and I really thought it was time and I'd be holding my baby boy right now. However, everything has come to a halt... anybody have any ideas how to kick-start my labor backup or experience anything like this before?

Never experiened anything like it before. But I do know that some ladies can have a prolonged labour with it stopping and starting before it develops into established labour.

I suppose gravity is your best bet, anything to get babies head rubbing/pushing up against the cervix. If you have a birthing ball have a good bounce on that, long walk, climb the stairs repeatedly?

But ultimately baby will arrive whenever he/she is ready I'm afraid.

I feel like complete crap, my back hurts so bad, I had enough discharge or fluid leak out to go thro my underwear and pants to the outside of my pants and shooting pains in my lower back and I feel so neasous and my entire body hurts
