Hi, I'm new here and was hoping someone might share their experiences if something similar has happened.

I had a chemical pregnancy last month...positive tests, late period, had spotting which got gradually heavier until full AF and worse cramps than I've ever experienced, then a BFN. I started my new cycle on my cbfm the first day of bleeding and I thought it had finally stopped yesterday after a few days of spotting (normal for me). I'm on cd9 today and cd7&8 were both high days and today a peak day (I have 24 day cycles). We had intercourse last night which ended up being quite messy (sorry!) then I've had more bleeding today to the point where I'm having to wear a tampon.

Basically I just want to know if there's a chance I can get pregnant again this month or has anyone else experienced this? I've been reading that it's quite common to fall pregnant straight after a chemical pregnancy but with my cycles being so short I don't know if my body has had chance to recover fully before ovulating again?

Sorry for the essay and thanks in advance!

Hi, sorry to hear about your loss. I had one in May and no luck since but fingers crossed for you. Like you I read lots of positive stories. I counted first day of bleeding as cd1 and had a period when I would have been due to ovulate (if I hadn't have been pregnant). I've short cycles too (23days). Good luck

Thank you for replying and I'm sorry for your loss.

I think the same thing is happening to me too so I guess I'll count this cycle out. I got another peak day this morning too, it's so confusing! It will probably help if I stop stressing about it all anyway.

Good luck.
