We are trying to collate a set of info re: constipation and digestive problems in pregnancy, as loads of us in First Tri seem to be suffering!

If anyone has any tips would they kindly post on my thread.

If it would be useful perhaps we could ask the mods to sticky it into 2nd and 3rd tri too?

eat a big bowl full of brown rice if you're a bit bunged up!

I swear by drinking lots of water. Try and aim for 2 litres a day that should get things going.
 
pure orange juice. and branflakes they do the trick for me !!!

my personal thing was barley in soup - or soups with lots of pasta and beans.

Also eating cereal in the morning.

I work in a hospital - the consultant recommends prune juice for constipation - it's meant to be excellant but I can't bring myself to eat it.
