Hi, ive just began ttc no 2 and stopped my pill 10 days ago. Thing is i missed 2 pills (left them at home by mistake during a 2 day break!) then my period arrived so i just left the remaining 5 pills as i figured that it was pointless carrying on as my period started.
Trouble is this period has been very dark in colour (almost black!!!) Is this normal?? Also, does this mean that my ovulation day will still be from the 1st day of my 'earlier' period or will it be the day i really should have started had i taken the last few pills? Ohhh im getting confused!! Hope you can help.xx

I don't know about the black period.....

but you may find you ovulation day is a little bit wacky having just come off the pill anyway as your body reverts to using its own hormones.

If you really want to know when you ovulate this month you'd be best using OPKs or BBT.
