Hi all

I am just wondering does anyone know how long it would take for the pill cerazette to make your periods back to normal?

I know this is strange but ive been off the pills for over 5 years and just the last 2 months my period has been very regular every 28 days which I've never had. I am just wondering could it take t years for my body to be back to normal?

Thanks jemma xxx

Hey, quite possible but it does seem like. Along time. Every woman is different and can react differently to to contraception. I had the injection once and it took 18 months to get back to normal.

Hi thanks for your reply when I was last at fertility he said I wasn't ovulating but I was getting regular periods every 34 days but it could also be I'm in a better place now as I had to move house away from a mouse infestation and I'm now in a better house away from that so I'm just wondering if it could have been all that stressbut in hoping now I'm regularly 28 days that will better our chances of concieving as its been a hard 5 years trying xxx

Oh it’s amazing how much stress can affect your body. It’s sounding very positive. They do say regular periods are a good sign. Perhaps your body is getting back in to the rhythm.
I used prenatal vitamins for first couple of months and used opks teacher with an app. I never got a peak fertility (clear blue) just high but I believe I missed it. So don’t be disheartened if you don’t get a peak. It’s very easy to miss it xx

It's really helpful to track your temperature and use an app like fertility friend. It will detect ovulation.

I wouldn't worry about cycles a bit longer than 28 days. With my last baby my cycles were 42+ days and I didn't have an issue getting pregnant. I did track my temperature though because I was worried that I wasn't ovulating.
