after ellie i was defo tighter than after jaycee so she kinda fixed things for me lol!! the more u use ur muscles down there the tighter u get so do ur pf exercises etc, that will help labour and recovery
I'm so glad you asked this cause I don't have a clue and it's one thing I'm quite worried about... how long does it take to get back to normal does anybody know roughly?xx
I went back to normal too, maybe slightly tighter too.
I was bleeding for 4/5 weeks after birth & really swollen for 7, went totally back to normal (tightness wise) after about 2/3 months, something like that.
I think that's every woman's big fear.. Every body is different so recovery will depend on ur body and exercise.. They don't advise sex for a good few weeks so I'd say about 2 months is about right.. After giving birth sex is kinda last on ur mind lol!!
i went for my smear there recently nd she knew i had had madison by c section cos i was TOO tight to have delivered vaginally no wonder the boys love me! xx
Ugh even the word smear I have to go back for my abnormal smear result near Christmas
I do agree everyone is different, I had sex less than 2 weeks after having Odhrán but I wasn't grazed or anything, and if I'm being really honest I still do my pelvic floor exercises, I often find it hard to remind myself to do them, so when I'm going for a wee I will stop and start no matter how bad I need to go, it's the only time I ever remember x
Also they say having a strong pelvic floor works in your favor for pushing, I done mine through the pregnancy and I found pushing a lot easier than I expected xx
I'm sure I read not to do pelvic floors when your doing a pee
I think there may be certain "signs" from a smear that a woman has delivered vaginally but not necessarily because its looser - thats a shame you never got to experience a vaginal birth piglet, one of my friends had a section & she always says she feels cheated.
I've been doing pelvic floors, not alot but trying to remember to do one every time I sit down after getting up!
