Period?

I had LO 6 1/2 weeks ago, I bled for 4 weeks. Me and OH DTD last week and the following morning I had a tiny amount of brown blood. It has increased since and is now bright red, this morning I had several clots on my pad (sorry tmi) and it is really heavy, is this normal?

It's much heavier now, I went through 6 pads during the night... Glad I have my 6 wk check later today.

How'd u get on love?

Dr described it as a 'post partum haemorrhage' got antibiotics to be on the safe side and bed rest for 3 days to try and ease the bleeding, if it gets any worse I am to go to hospital.
