Hi ladies, I'm sure it is all normal but was just looking for some advice really.

For the last few weeks I've been getting period pains on and off which I know is normal in pregnancy, but this week they are actually really hurting and it feels like so much pressure down there. I originally thought it was baby getting his head down but he is still breech so know it's not that. Sorry for tmi but you know the stomach ache you get when you have diarrhoea, it feels like that but without the diarrhoea. It stops me in my tracks and has made me feel sick a few times were it hurts.

I don't remember having it with luisa, is it all normal? Xx

I am 39 weeks and have everything you describe too, so totally normal I would say. Only thing I can't comment on is the difference with a breech baby, but I would very much assume it's all normal. X

I'm only 32 weeks though so don't know if it is to early to be feeling like it? I don't have my midwife for another 2 weeks either.

Thanks for replying hun xx

I've had this on and off for the past couple of weeks. I've even lost parts of my mucus plug. Asked midwife about it on Wednesday, and she said it's all very normal, it's just my body gearing up for birth. Baby's head was 2/5 engaged already too, and she said to expect more pressure in the weeks coming up. Apparently it's normal to even begin to dilate anytime from 34-36 weeks too, and that she's had ladies walking around 2-3 cms dilated and with irregular contractions for the whole last month of pregnancy...

God that sounds scary to me ha ha. I'm 32 weeks too and starting to get a few little stabby pains right up my u know what ha ha. Not plesent but I'm assuming this is normal

I'v been the same. Horrible scary cramping pains, I spoke to my midwife and she said its really common in second pregnancies rather than 1st pregnancies.
Obviously she said if they become regular, or more intense it would be best to get checked. But sounds pretty normal.
I also don't remember pains like this with my 1st daughter.
