Period again 15 days apart.

Hey,
I am not ttc, but hoping for advice pleasee.
Started the pill on the 8th August, stopped on the 18th I started bleeding on the 17th (stopped cos of the side affects I was getting). Anyways so period came on the 17th for 9 days longer than ever had before. Now yesterday 1st September I have another period!!??? The pill has made me have 2 periods? I did have my baby in June so could be that idk. Anyone had anything similar?

Could the first bleed have been the withdrawal bleed from stopping the pill, and this bleed be your 'true' period? When was your actual next period due before you stopped taking your pill?

I would say it's a shitty side effect of taking the pill and then stopping it so abruptly, especially if your cycles weren't back to normal after giving birth. If it keeps happening though pop to the doctor to see what's going on

I started bleeding the day before i stopped taking them, otherwise I would have just thought withdrawal. X

Hmm then I’m really not sure. Perhaps asking your gp would be best because then they can tell you for sure if it’s normal in your particular circumstances?

I wouldn't worry about it. The hormones will have messed your cycles. If your next period is in 2 weeks then I'd be off to the GP but you're probably fine x
