Period 4 days late after Clomid

Hi ladies
I took two cycles of 50mg and the last one 100mg. 50mg didn't work occording to day 21 progesterone tests, but scans during the last cycle on 100mg showed an follicle which was about to 'pop'. My periods are always between 25 and 27 days; never longer. I'm now on day 30 and have been feeling nauseous for the last week. I've took a HPT on day 27 and was convinced I saw a very very faint positive line. I did another today and definitely had a negative. Has anyone else had experience of Clomid messing up cycles? I don't know what to think.

clomid can alter the day you ovulate on and therefore give you a different cycle length to normal. Which cycle day did they think you would ovulate according to your scan?

I’ve just had 4 cycles of clomid 50mg 1st cycle was 32 days second 28 third 27 and then this one was only 21days I’m back to see my consultant on Friday to see what’s going on
