I know Donna! It hasn't boosted my confidence for a BFP but I'm not giving up hope til AF arrives! When I got BFP last month I was getting positives on clearblue and first response but still not getting positives on ebay cheapies - so if AF is late and I'm still showing BFN on cheapies I might invest in a first response.....

Sounds like a good plan Bex Think I might get a clearblue ready for Christmas day then if the ebay cheapies are that bad. I dont want to get a bfn and then drink over christmas if theres a chance it could be wrong

My family keep asking me what I want for Christmas, think I might put a couple of tests on my list then But then again, nah, they dont know were trying and I'd like to keep it that way! Might be a little hard if I do get a BFP on christmas day though because I wouldn't tell anyone till I hit 12 weeks, could be hard with it being christmas a new year as I usually have a good few glasses of wine

We'd tell my parents (who we are spending xmas day with) - but then they know about the m/c last month so it's a bit different.

You could always prepare the ground a few days before by going 'yuck, I think I might be coming down with something' etc etc - so that when (notice I don't say if! ) you're not drinking on xmas day you can say 'oooh no I won't thanks, still feeling a bit iffy'....

Now that would be cool but if my mum thought there was the slightest possibility theres a bug in the house then she wont bloody come over! Shes a nightmare and I also have hubbys mum coming and I wouldn't want her to know. Hadn't thought this one out much. But then I think it's wishful thinking.

if it's any consolation i tested early, got bfn, tested again, bfn and still no bloody af!!

i have now told myself i would wait til weekend if no af! yeah right, like that will happen
