Some people like to avoid nuts hun, but as long as you obvs dont have the allergy to them or any major family history of allergys then its absolutely fine to have nuts. I have had satay chicken from the chinese loads and various other nuts. xxx
I remember my midwife saying that it 'used' to be a no no about peanuts, but she told me it is fine.
Not a problem for me, I HATE nuts...
But overall I would say they are fine. I have eaten a few roasted nuts when my friends have them in the pub...I would also like to point out that I do NOT swallow them down with beer!
I've read everywhere that they are fine as long as there is no allergy in your family but my midwife still says I definitely can't have them as I am asthmatic and the baby could develop an allergy. I can't say I've been that strict though, I haven't checked every ingredient
Im mildly asthmatic and havent been told to steer clear of nuts? In fact, I've probably eaten more peanut butter during my pregnancy than I have in the last couple of years! Loving it...X
Same here I'm asthmatic on preventer twice a day and still eat nuts.
Asthma can't give you allergics but pleanty of allergies and diseases can give you asthma (I got mine from having pnuemonia at around 7/8 years of age)
