anyone here have it? I was diagnosed from some bloods i had taken about 2 weeks ago, got the results 1 week ago. thing is i still haven't had af and wondering if i should just keep getting on with nothing happening (don't think i've even ov'd yet - been charting since then) or if there's something that can be done to bring it on. Doc said to go back in april and keep trying in the meantime -- but how long should i leave it before I should call back again? (on day 78 now)

hi,

I suffer with pcos, however, pretty bad as ive never had a period so i have to have them brought on my a withdrawl pill. They give me this every 3months so that the lining doesnt build up. If you do ov it might be worth waiting and you still might ov this cycle.

Hope this helps

thanks. I've been temping this month but past few days woken up early/late/had a bad night but it says I might have ovulated!! hope it's not just the bad charting though!

I've looked up the symptoms and I'm concerned I might have it. I did get bloods taken for a diabetes test, but they never even told me whether I was positive or negative.

I think I should maybe see my doctor, I'm not sure.

how long ago did you get the tests done and what did they say when you called for the results?

I got my results the week after the tests (tested the hormone levels) if you're worried about it go to your doctors and explain your worries and ask if they think it would be worth you getting tested for it.

I was diagnosed with it earlier this year. hubby and i went to docs as we were not getting pregnant. I was reffered to a specialist and after alot of tests they told me i had PCOS. I was really worried i wasnt going to get pregnant as i dont know when i was ovulating due to irregular periods. Anyway, consultant put me on medication to help ovulation and told me i could have 6 months or it was going to be IVF.....I am now just over 3 months pregnant! It took me 4 cycles on the tablets but they were so worth it. There is a way round PCOS, although i didnt believe it when people said it to me. Sorry if i have rambled! xox:)
