PCOS question? Advise please.

Hi all!
I was diagnosed with PCOS last year sometime and have had the odd pain since then and only had 2 periods in well over a year (closer to 2 now).
They have always be incredibly painful when I have had periods and very very heavy.
However I have recently been having really horrible pain in my lower abdomen and it has been increasingly painful and tender to touch. I've also found it painful on occasions during sex, which is really causing us problems as we have been TTC for 16 and a bit months now.
Is this pain likely to be down to my PCOS or could it be caused by something else? In the last fortnight I've almost constantly had this nagging pain there.
Any advice will be much appreciated .x.

Hi, I would go to your GP and say you think you may have a cyst - they should then send you for a scan asap.

This happened to me and I was buckled over. It was likley just a big cyst rupturing as by the time I waited for my scan it was gone.

Ive just been diagnosed with pcos and a mass on the left ovary and also swollen ovaries

My only symptom was pain In the pelvic/groin area

My periods are on time 26-28 days..
Just lots of pain..

Get it checked Hun xx

Yes could be a dermoid cyst or maybe just fluid around the ovaries from the PCOS. I have both and although the PCOS doesn't cause me pain, I think my dermoid cyst does. X

I may be way off here but a lot of your symptoms sound like endometriosis?
