Hi ladies, my first post in this section.

So, got hit with the bombshell that I'm not ovulating again. I have pcos but was put on metformin and lost a stone and a half to concieve my DS. Been told I need to lose weight again. I'm only 4lbs heavier then what I was when I fell pregnant last time.

But what I'd like to know is, anyone with pcos do you use a fertility monitor? And are they worth it?xx

I used the vlear blue monitor and never got an accurate reading

Also tried ovulation sticks but unfortunately got positive results when bloods at the fertility clinic showed I wasnt ovulating :(

I have used various OPK's with no success. The CB digi tests showed a flashing face for a week and I gave up with them - never got a solid smiley.

I have seen ladies in the clomid thread who get solid smiley faces and bloods confirm their ovulation so I think they're only useful if you do ovulate.

I'm really tempted by the CB monitor but don't know if it will be a waste of money x

Belfa I got one second hand with a new box of sticks for £55 so much cheaper then new. I thought I'd give it a go and if no success then I'd sell on.xx

i have a clear blue monitor and the first cycle the monitor is learning ur body so it does say u might not get a peak, most people have had success on the 2nd cycle, i have mine and didn't get a peak and came on 7 days early so hoping that aside 2nd cycle will be more informative for me, i use internet cheapies opks with them to confirm results, hope u have some luck im waiting for surgery for a polup to be removed that is blocking my right ovary so then i can start clomid :) xx
