Part time evening course

Hoping to start an evening course in a few months and was wondering how it works when you aren't working? There is a getting back to work programme within the benefits office but they aren't doing a course that I want to do, if I had of went on one of theirs I got extra money every week for traveling etc and a £200 grant, I'm just wondering because I'm going to a different class and paying for it will I get money taken off me or am I entitled to anything for travel expenses? Ringing them in the morning but wanted a heads up first xx

pretty sure ur entitled to full time courses free and part time reduced, also if ur doing 16 hours at college u will get working tax credits!! xx
