Ok its 03:23 am and i cant sleep now im starting to feel twinges/crampy feeling in my lower abdomen. Dunno if i should feel worried or not. Im roughly about 10 weeks now and got my appointment with the midwife next week tues. Debating whether i should try n see a doc asap or wait till then?

im not as far on as you so i dont know whats normal for your stage. I do know its prob just stretching etc if theres no blood and bearable id say its normal

Oh Hun, hope you managed to get some sleep! I've been having strange pains down either side of my belly and as the day goes on I get uncomfortable sitting! I'm sure it's just our bodies streching to make room for the LO but if your worried pop to your docs or call the mw, they'll be able to put your mind at rest (hopefully) Xx

yeah, your both probably right. it is probably stretching and heard it can also be implantation. its just really annoying. feel like im constantly on knicker watch and end up running to the loo whenever i get the cramps. just so scared. do u have any idea how long it goes on for? i think i might just wait till tues. i have been getting a few cramps today but they werent as bad as last night x

Hi, don't worry you are not alone. I'm still freaking out at every sharp pain. And say 'phew' every single time i go to the loo and its ok.

I worry about sneezing too hard or straining when constipated (sorry way TMI).

I had stretching pains and stitch throughout my whole pregnancy last time, so it all sounds good. As pickledonions says, as long as there is no blood it is likely to be a very good sign!

thanks for all the reassurance. i know your all right im a student nurse and have student midwife friends and they say the same too. think im just too excited and dont want anything to spoil it x

I was up at around the same time and nearly posted, I wish I did now, you were not alone! I felt like I had a stitch last night.

Its a horrible feeling. I thought in t1 u were meant to be really tired and sleep all the time. But i keep getting these pains and get up like 2/3 times at night. I really dont like being pregnant. Men have it so easy. Wish it was like when u were kids and thought babies were flown home by storks lol
