Yes, that first meconium nappy is a bit of a shocker! Luckily one of the other mums on the ward warned me about it before I found it! It is green and eeewww!

Sometimes I do panic a bit ... but keep in mind that NOBODY knows how to be a mother beforehand we'll learn.

Believe me i was like this last time had a 7 year gap. it will all come to you in no time u will be a pro. If u sterilise using a cold water tank u use the stuff from unit as u need it soloution will last 24 hours. instrustions are on box so u will be fine.

some like tofeed baby on demand prob best if b/f if bottle then around every 4 hour mark.

you dont need to bath baby every day top and tail ing is fine as too many baths can dry babies skin.

if bottle feeding instrustions are on side of milk powder.

your m/w will see you after birth and give u any support advice you need.

you will be fine
