Pains in bits and low down in stomach at 29 weeks

I commented on princesses post earlier to say id had the odd split second shooting pain in my bits over the weekend but the last couple of hours ive been getting it quite a bit along with pain at the bottom of my bump. i have noticed though that baby seems to have moved head down this last week so is this normal when hes in position? It keeps stopping me in my tracks but no tightenings etc.
Prob being paranoid but mum went into pre term labour with me at 30 weeks and the happenings on here recently make you think...... x

My midwife said today that its just baby getting further down and the pressure because of the increasing weight.
If its worrying you then call your mw or maternity ward they always say to phone if in doubt x

Thats ok then. Im at midwife wednesday so ill mention it then, its nothing i cant handle if i can lay down just not very pleasant. As long as its normal it makes me feel better x
