painfull intimacy?

Maybe this is TMI but is anyone also experiencing painfull intimacy?

I am now a little over 38 weeks pregnant and having intercourse is not very nice. Even though my husband is really nice and I love him and I feel excited I stay so dry and it makes it very hard (with my first pregnancy I only had this post pregnancy and heard that was normal also with feeding a baby and change in hormones). But I thought in the third trimester sex should be more pleasurable and easY?

What do you ladies think? Am I strange? I Even want to be more intimate with my husband but for some reason my body thinks otherwise. ALso if we do something afterwards my belly feels like a rock like there is no baby in there but just a big stone

With my 1st pregnancy it was very painful so your not alone! Luckily 2nd time round it was fine but still made me nervous!!

I'm getting the same problem.
It will settle down I think, it's just our hormones being all over the place.
In the meantime, why not get creative with the lube to make things a bit easier, and positions to make things comfier? x

i was like this when we bd the other night and i have never had problem before, i thought it was just cause we hadn't dne it for weeks but maybe not maybe its my hormones too. so your not alone.

Me and OH had this problem, so we decided to use it to our advantage and had a sexy day out to ann summers and let him pick a lube he wanted and one I wanted, came home went for a romantic bath then tried them out!

Use it to your advantage, really helped with me and OH xx

I had this with my first it was so painful. Now this time its not.painful dtd but at the.end my tummy goes soild and cramps so it rarely happens at the moment. X x

to me it doens't really feel like contractions but just amassive rock in my belly for 2 hours ungoing (so not contraction and then gone and then again) that is why it makes it so bad.

i find that my stomach aches for a while afterwards bout an hour, no problems with being dry (sorry if tmi!!) but find it difficult to get into good positions!Xx

I found that my stomach aches for a while with mild period type feelings and goes rock solid for a long time and becomes extremely uncomfy to move around but usually subsides after a while of lying on my sides or back for a while. I've had it really bad once, we had sex ( i was on all 4's tmi sorry) but at one point I actually said to my oh during it "what the f*** did you just do there" and he said nothing but I htink he may have went in a bit hard and too deep and it was sore. About 10 minutes afterwards I started getting really severe period cramp feelings along the lower of my tummy, severe lower backache and couldnt get comfy sitting, lying down, or walking around. I went in a bath and lay for a while and it settled in the bath, got out and it was worse. I was in and out of bed , kneeling over the bottom on the bed on my knee's, sitting on the bed on all 4's, pacing around the house for about 4 hours then went in another bath and took 2 paracetamol, eventually it subsided about 20 min after the 2nd bath and let me sleep.
