I started my period on the first and it’s been super spotty and light. I have had red blood, but mainly brown blood.

I still am technically on my period, but I’m on CD 7 and decided to start taking OPK since last month I got an OPK on CD11.

It was pretty dark. Last month, my OPKs were light right up until ovulation.

Is it possible to ovulate during your period still or so soon after your period ends?

I just started taking Vitex yesterday, if that matters.

It is possible to ovulate on your period but it is unusual. Maybe take a pregnancy test, just to rule that out? Pregnancy causes positive OPK.

I did take the cheap pregnancy strips and those were negative. Later on last night, my period got REAL heavy. Do you have the LH hormone during your period? Maybe that is why?

I'm in the states, going to the doctor is almost for emergent scenarios only, if possible. Costs over $100 a visit to just find out that everything is normal and nothing is wrong. I'm not going to see the doctor because of an LH strip that was almost positive on my period. haha.

Maybe just an odd cycle. Anyone can have an odd cycle once in a while. I know it's not to have LH before your period starts, I'm not sure about during.

Maybe. I did start taking Vitex so maybe it did something weird. Who knows! Thanks for replying <3

Just took my OT and it was lighter today. Weird how it went from dark to light. I'm still bleeding.
