Ovulation Bleeding - Questions?

So AF finished 9 days ago, but yesterday i had some brown spotting, so i decided to wear a Tampon and when i took it out, it was dark brown blood (sorry tmi) - nothing like a period really and that was the case this morning - dreading checking this one

I have NEVER had this before and good old google has informed me its more than likely ovulation bleeding, but as you can imagine i am still concerned

I am regular as clock work, so this has thrown me.

I did read that a doctor said to someone that its an excellent fertility sign - god i hope thats the case

Did an opk last night, pretty much negative, a very slight line. I was going to test the opks on Saturday, so i will stick to that plan and hope that this bleeding is just a sign and that ovulation will commence when i think it will.

Has anyone had this and how long did it last? etc etc

Please save me from going mad

This cycle is first time I have had ovulation bleeding, was on and off for about 3 days I think. I would test everyday not just from Saturday so that you don't miss your positive, it doesn't get gradually darker, can go from feint line to positive. I also read about it being a good fertility sign, so fingers crossed! X

We are ovulation bleeding buddies If i dont laugh i will cry, as i dont like change lol

so the colour now is quite a vibrant red, so from what i have read, the dark brown is old blood, so it can only mean that whats coming now is fresh, but will hopefully just ease off

Lets hope its a good sign for both of us

Sounds like AF has come early if it's fresh red blood. Bizarre that it's so soon after you had AF, maybe do a pregnancy test to be sure as someone else suggested on other post. X

I think i am safe in saying it wasnt period red, if you know what i mean lol - it did just seem different, more bright pink, and not as period like. It definitely wasn't anywhere near as much as my period would be, so i am hoping its just a burst of blood and it will be gone by tonight.

Defo not pregnant, decided to rule that one out as well last night

Definitely easing up with the flow of blood, thank god, and i now think i am going to ovulate any time soon dam him being on nights!

I have the same ovulation feelings as i had last time, so almost know what i should be feeling.

I will do an opk test tonight after the gym, so will be early evening test.

Just did one - its a negative

I am pretty sure the bleeding has stopped, but I will only really be able to tell in the morning.

What the hell is happening

Best case scenario, the egg is on its way and I will get a positive opk in a few days, hopefully Saturday.

Worst case scenario, this is a period and my body is playing games with me this month

Strangely enough, I’ve had pink spotting tonight. I had a negative opk test Thursday am (however it was getting there) but now today there’s not even a hint of a line, so I’m thinking I missed my surge whilst at work on Thursday evening.

Now tonight (Friday) I wipe and get pink blood, I’ve had mild ovary cramps too and my watery cm has practically gone. I’ve read that egg white or watery cm disappearing is a sign that you’ve ovulated.

So now I’ve put Thursday as my positive opk which means I’ve ovulated today, I didn’t get my dark line, but I’m almost sure I missed my surge everything else indicates that’s it’s happened already.

I hate our bodies at times, why can't they just do the same things everything single month

Ovulating on the same date would be lovely as well I mean thats not asking for much surely

I really wanted to believe mine was ovulation bleeding, but it was too heavy for that, just a lot lighter than my usual period! eughhh.
