Over due and feeling grumpy!!!

Hi there ladies,

Just wondered if there any others out there who are over due and finding it hard to wait patiently!

I am now 5 days over my due date!!!!! My midwife gave me a sweep yesterday and said my cervix was ripe and ready and I am 1cm dilated. I came away from my appointment feeling really positive and though things would start moving due to the sweep but nothing!!!!!! I am really active and walk my dog for about an hour a day, have tried hot curries, Clary Sage oil in my bath and all the other ways that are recommended to bring things on but nothing!

I know baby Taylor will come when ready but its so hard to be patient and I find it hard to fill my days. I can't really plan anything as things could happen anytime so feel in limbo!!!

oh i just started an over due thread too lol (ill see if i can delete it )


im 6 days over now, no signs of anything happening yet lol

i will ba having a sweep on monday if nothings happened by then but i kind of feel like it will be this weekend sometime


im not finding it too much of a problem at the mo, im still working on orders for people while hubby is at work, then each day when he gets home we either watch a movie or go out somewhere, we have been to the cinema lots lol baby seems to like the noise

not sure what i can suggest you do hun, can you get friends to visit or something so you are distracted?

Hope things happen soon for everyone thats overdue, the waiting's awful thinking it can be any day now. Really hope you meet your LO's soon xx

Aww bless u, I'm not even overdue yet n loosing my mind, told oh if bubs isnt here by Monday I'm going to have a screaming fit!!

I'm feeling abit more together today! Just need to keep myself busy and I am sure things will happen!

I am being induced on Monday if nothing has happened by then so at least I have a date to look forward to and know things cannot drag on past that date!
