My daughters middle name is Mae , Phoebe Mae ? Mae goes with poppy, violet . What about grace, that was my second choice for a middle name or rose but not with violet.

Mae is a lovely second name! And it goes with pretty much any name (except if they start with M IMO, I wouldn't combine it with Mila, I'm not too keen on having first and middle names start with the same letter) but yeah, like you said it would go with phoebe, poppy and violet! would also go with charlotte, which is in our top 5 too
oh I love Mila Grace!

ah and we used to have Georgie (either just Georgie or as a nickname for Georgia or Georgina) on our list... still love that name too

I hate names that have the same letters too. Mila grace I love it! If I have another girl one day I will use grace as the middle name. What's the surname your girls will have , you need them to go with that too.

I like the name phoebe...met a little call called phoebe the other day and thought it was really cute, and also fine when older.

Charlotte is quite popular, as is Grace but lovely names. My niece has just been named Charlotte Grace.

I know what yiu mean by wanting names to go. I'm the same...I have two daughters with not very popular names, and don't want my third to have a boring one.

It's so hard, isn't it?!

I'm also a bit OCD as my two have a three syllable first name and 2 syllable middle name. Just can't get that for number three!

I like the post to see how popular names have been. Someone told me yiu can narrow it down to your area somehow but I don't know how! Will have to remember to ask.

Don't pressurise yourself to get exact names now. Maybe a short list and you'll know when yiu meet them who they are, hopefully!

That's what OH ( sorry, i'm so bad with these abbreviations, he's my fiance, but just gonna go with oh cause i'm a lazy bum.. means other half, right?) said too.. he wants us to make a short list and then decide when we see them. Maybe it'll just pop into our head "oh she's a ..."
I like the idea and we are most probably going to end up doing that anyway, buuut I just kind of like having a name before hand and calling them by their names when talking to the bump Like before it was so nice when we'd call him Milo, because it feels more like he's an actual person (that sounds bad, poor choice of words, but I hope you get what I mean )

Other thing that OH mentioned today I didn't think about before... I started to really fall in love with Mila for the LO who was supposed to be Milo... now he said that one thing I need to be 100% aware of is that if we were to have a boy sometime in the future (we'll have our hands full for the next few years probably, but we do want at least 3 or 4 children), we could call him Milo unless we are calling our daughter Mila now. Cause if we do we definitely won't have another Milo.... so... yeah I'm not sure if maybe I should "save" the name for later, because I love it so much

That's a good point about "saving it"...wait and see maybe.

All through pregnancy with DD1, she was Isla. Then as soon as we saw her we said, oh she's not isla she's Amelie. And she is definitely an Amelie.

I know what yiu mean about it making them more a little person, I've tried calling my bump by a name but can't quite stick to it.

Are yiu going to have another scan so yiu know for sure this one is right?

Somehow, as convinced as I was before that it's a boy, the more convinced I am not it is in fact a girl haha!
however OH wants to get another scan next week to get a third opinion so we can be 100%. I'm not sure if we should, because we've had two scans now (one NHS and one private) and they both said girl... and private twin scans are freaking expensive :S

Don't over think choosing a name. It really can get a bit much and you will just go round in circles.
If it helps we had a list of girl/boys names we really liked and waited until baby was here to choose one. Both my girls had no name for a few days x

Lorna is rather good! But I think Sylar is too much! Skylar is good when you are cool teenager, but when you want to become a cool lawyer? not cool already..
