I've started again this pg with PGP at nearly 15 weeks, sigh. I am seeing my osteo on Saturday and have read they have had some success with symptoms and just wondering if anyone here has had experience with one for PGP and was it helpful? Thanks x

I see a chiropractor for my PGP, and I honestly believe she was the only reason I was still mobile at the end of my last pregnancy. This time I started having hip pain at 7 weeks, so went straight to see her and am seeing her every 4 weeks currently and my PGP is completely in check as she ensures my pelvis is stable. Towards the end of the 4 week period I definitely start to feel more pain so I know that I would be really suffering if I wasn't seeing her

Fingers crossed your osteopath help you as much as she helps me

Xx

I see a physio for my PGP in my pregnancies. I don't find it massively helpful but then with little ones I don't get much time to do the exercises they give me!

Thanks ladies. Emmajaine that is really good to hear, making an assumption that their techniques might be similar for this. If the osteo doesn't work I'll try a chiro!

Kumber I had a physio (nhs) with it before and it was bugger all help! Shameful really that alternatives aren't offered when we are in so much pain x

I would assume so, she does gentle manipulation of my joints, and some gentle massage of the muscles around my hips. So guessing an osteopath would do similar.

Fingers crossed it helps, let us know how you get on xx

Quite good I think! It was mostly massage around my hips and glutes, initially painful but eased off but was that good kind of pain!? Going back in a month (or before if needs be). Thanks for asking :) xx

Completely get that, I find that at times too.

Glad it has helped, fingers crossed that it keeps the PGP manageable for the rest of your pregnancy

Xx
