I was the same as you was in denial of labour and thought I had food poisoning, it was also my mum who said 'Darling you are in labour'!!!!

What a lovely story! I was the same I was so sure I only had trapped wind till I was 5cms dilated and I was constantly talking about poop too! It sure feels that way doesn't it!
