OPK - no piks.. just need advice

Hey ladies..

Been using one step opks.
im currently on cd15. used 2opk each day on cd12,13,14 & 15.. all faint test lines. none of which are any darker than the day before or dark as the control line.

id of thought id ovulate by now. its the 1st cycle since coming off pill on 17th aug. AF turned up 19th aug and stopped 23rd. when i was on the pill my periods were 28days spot on. before going on pill again i can remember them being always around 28days maybe day before or day after.

soo im confused.. when the bloody hell will i ovulate!!
i have the signs.. high and open cervix. last 2/3days ive had ewcm.
but the sticks keep showing negative!!

ive BD 24th,25th,26th,27th,29th,31st & 1st lol gosh seems like alot. hoping to tonight aswell. so if ive missed it or im doing something wrong with tests i hope ive had enough sex to catch my eggy if i ovulated.
i also used conceive plus lastnight.


what do u think girls? anything u can suggest? xx

What time of day are you testing Dani? Are you tracking your temperature too that can help in point ovulation?

im going to buy a bbt thermometor when im back from holiday for cycle 2 (if no bfp). ive kinda gone mental with buying alsorts of stuff to help get preg from tablets,vits lubes, opks lol. spending a forune. so dnt wanna get loads incase im lucky and catch str8 away. if not then im going to get otger bits and bobs.
what temp should i be looking for ready for when i buy one?? is temping gd?

im test around mid day and again about 6/7pm after work. im leaving urine for a few mins like it suggests on packet. theres a test line just to faint to class is as a +... :/ and this is the 4th day now! xxx

I would continue to test, you may not have ovulated yet, periods can take a while to regulate after pill, it took me a good few months, my cycles varied each month for about 5 months. I had very faint lines this month until my pos on cd 14 so you might get a nice surprise in a couple of days x

I didn't use OPK'S the first cycle as I knew it would take a cycle or two to get back to normal after using the contraceptive patch. I then started using cheap OPK'S the 2nd cycle and I tested 3 times a day 2pm, 6pm and 10pm from CD10 until CD20. I got my positive on CD14. I then decided to buy the cleat blue fertility monitor for 3rd cycle and I love it it takes all the guess work out of testing and I got my peak reading the first cycle using it.
With regards to temping you should have low temps from AF until you ovulate, then your temps should rise from ovulation until AF is due, if temps stay high after ovulation for 15 days it's an indication that your pregnant.

Stick with it Dani you will ovulate soon, it just takes time.

one thing iv noticed is the one step opks arent always very good with the dye....i used them this cycle and never got a line as dark as the control line but my temperatures signalled that i had ov'd along wih cramps and ewcm.

also after coming off the pill it can take some girls a while to regulate their cycles so dont be too disheartned hun....if ur getting cramps and ewcm then id listen to your body

i find doing temperatures very helpful but its very involved and worth reading up on before trying as its so specific

thank you ladies!! im going to stick with a few more days and see if i notice any darker lines. tbh i feel like i may have ovulated due to body signs. might just be in my head hoping but only time will tell lol.

Did you say you have been tracking cervix position? if so, once you ovulate, it will go lower, harder and more closed. You may also notice that your cm goes a white lotion like consistency x

today ive noticed ita not as high.. maybe ive actually ovulated!! thanka for all the info and advice. im so new to this lol! wasnt really sure what i was looking for and when! lolbim learning tho xx
