Hi there. On cycle day 18 and have started using FF along with taking my basal temp. Kind of messed up my basal temp by taking it at different times as I wake up at different times. Anyways took a cheap 20ml/u opk on cd17 and got a positive. My clearblue opk was still saying high. Tried it again this morning and still getting a flashing smiley face. I have taken 2 cheap OPK again but they are now negative although they just have slightly lighter test lines compared to the baseline. In Celsius temp for Cd 15 my temp was 35.87 at 7.40am, CD 16 36.09 at 8.20am, CD 17 36.1 at 8.30, CD 18 (today) 35.83 at 8am. I double checked my temp again this morning and it was different. Not sure if I am taking my temp right orally - how far in under the tongue do you have to go and how close to the same time do you take it - Am I get inaccurate readings? Plus what the damn is happening with the OPK! Also, FF is telling me DPO with a dotted red line???

Donna I can't help with most of this but how long is your cycle normally? Day 17/18 is quite late to ovulate, I have a 30/31 day cycle and ovulate on day 15.

Hi there, I stick the thermometer as far back under my tongue as it will go. With temps, i normally get a temp decrease the day before I ovulate (like you had on cd18) This would fit in with the positive opk test you had. My advice is to take your temp every morning at the same time. The fertility friend app is useful so persever. The more information you put in, the more accurate the analysis will be.
