opionions wanted for this name please........

Hi. Me and Dh have a list of girls names for our LO but tbh we are rubbish at making a decision.

At the moment we are thinking about the name Violet.
What does everyone think? is it too popular? Old fashioned?
Please give me honest opinions...I won't be offended.
I don't want to ask friends and family cos I want to announce the name after Lo is born and for it to be a surprise.

what middle names do you think would go with it well?

I think it's a beautiful name! So pretty and feminine, plus it's unique.

As for middle names, I'm not too sure...just a few combo's I've thought of:

Violet Michelle
Violet Olivia
Violet Amelia
Violet Rachel


I think it needs something with at least two syllables.... good luck chosing!

Violet is a nice name, for the second name i think it depends on your surname but personally i think Violet Rose would be nice

yeah...I agree-I've heard a few people say violet rose and I personally thought I'm not sure about them together, although I love both names separately and normally i would prob choose rose as a middle name cos its so pretty.

I'd be inclined to go with a longer middle name as it will tend to flow better.

Violet Alexandra (not that goes brilliantly but its all I can think of atm)

O Violet Elizabeth is good as someone suggested.
