Hello Everyone,
Hubby and I have settled on two names (one for each team) but don't want people we know to know them yet, so i thought i would ask you wonderful people for your opinions..

Boy... Oliver Taylor Ellis
Girl.... Isabelle Taylor Ellis

Taylor because it was my maiden name so want the name to keep going as i have no brothers.

Thank you!

I personally wouldn't choose those names because they will definately be shortened to Ollie and Bella. That is obviously my personal choice because I just dont like abbreviated names.

If you dont mind them being shortened though they are indeed very nice names! x

I love both, nice touch keeping maiden name in too xx

I like them both and I quite like olly and Bella or Izzy but I don't mind shortened names so long as they have the full name to start ifykwim xx

They're both lovely! I'd have had Oliver for baby but would shorten it to Olly and my Cousin has a dog called Ollie :( x

These are both ideas that I have one my list!
Also love the idea of using your maiden name as a middle name for either sex.

They are really lovely names, I couldn't have them myself as I have an issue with any top 100 names, and those are about top ten right now, but they are good names so just ignore me

Both names are lovely, there are a lot of 'L's' though when you say them aloud, especially if they are shortened to Olly & Bella.

They're lovely :-) I know an Isobel ( different sp) and she's adorable :-) xxxx

I agree that them being shortened would be an issue for me and also that popular names tend to put me off them.

Plus, i really hate the name Isabelle. It just sounds like the end of a sentance to me.

I quite like your use of the middle name Taylor, although a middle name isn't going to be passed on in the same way a surname would be.

I really like Oliver Taylor Ellis :)

I love the names :) My sons middle name is James which is his dads last name, I think it's a really sweet way of keeping both surnames in use x makes it special xxx

Both names are gorgeous!
My 3 yo niece is caled Isobelle (middle name Arya) her nicknames are Izzy and Bells. But I definatly prefer Isabelle with an a, it's more feminine and pretty I think..
I like Oliver and agree Olly is a sweet nickname!
Taylor is nice too.
Good luck! :) xx
