Hi Everyone,

I am new here and would like some advice bit of background started ttc 2 years ago had a early miscarriage at 6 weeks in 2012 then in June 2013 I was diagnosed at 9 weeks with a partial molar had 2 d&c's and given the all clear this year and I am currently pregnant again, so far no children.

My last AF was 15th June of a 29 day cycle and I know when I ovulated as I chart it was the 30th June. Tested positive on Saturday the 19th July after missing my period on Monday the 14th. I then started bleeding on Sunday the 20th and panicked thought it was all happening again so I went to A&E and had bloods taken and then referred to the EPU who called me on Monday and wanted to take more bloods on the Tuesday my levels went from 260 on the Sunday to 994 on the Tuesday. I stopped bleeding on the Monday and they took more bloods on the Thursday that came back at 3774! They agreed to a early scan on Friday last week I should have been 5 weeks 4 days by my last period but when they scanned they found a empty gestational sac in the uterus measuring 4.5mm which she said was under 5 weeks. Since then I have been in a mess worried I have a blighted ovum and dreading my scan next Thursday I can't even sleep. The only thought why I was measuring small is that my levels were really low up until the bleed on Monday then they increased dramatically the Dr did mentioned the bleed could still be implantation, do you think this is possible and it only started developing properly from the Monday and not much happened in the first week hence a week behind? am I clutching at straws?

Since then my boobs have really hurt way more than in my other pregnancies and I have sickness in the mornings.

I really would appreciate some thoughts and experiences?

Thank you x

Firstly, I'm sorry to hear of your losses. I know from personal experience how hard it can be.

I'd say your hcg levels are rising brilliantly and so it is highly likely that your pregnancy is progressing normally.

Personally, I've only ever been told bad news at early scans but I know from reading many posts on here that it's very hard to date you so early. A lot of ladies have been put back at an early scan only to have caught up to where they thought they should be at the next one!

Please try to stay positive (I know it's hard) and fx all will be well on Thursday xx

Hi,

Thank you so much for your reply I really regret having the scan so early but was bleeding and in some pain. I am glad my next scan is this week and I can finally see whats going on in there!

Hope you are ok? xx
