Only agree on one name for each!!

My hubby is exactly the same - esp re boy names: he literally said no to EVERYTHING! It has taken us 32 weeks to agree on Ben and Alex...

And I SOOOOOO badly wanted Sam too for a boy, but hubby - believe it or not - said no!

Mia is lovely and I love Cameron too; we liked Cameron for a girl as it's quite quirky x

I love your choice of names.

We only had one name for each and never even thought of changing. OH is actually wanting to keep the girls name for next time!!

I only had the one name for each of mine. I did panic slightly incase they really didn't look like they fit it, but they always do!

 there's defo only one in there Louise ;-)

I cant imagine changing our minds (well o/h might cos he's awkward) but I guess we'll find out within 26 weeks or so :oooo:

I have the same concerns about the pronunciation of Mia, but, hopefully if baby is a she then she will not have too many problems

Cameron was my fave boys name for ages and then the pm came in and now I think of him! It's a great name though. I live in Scotland and it has the Scottish factor too which I like (although I'm not Scottish!).

I like Mia. Cute and simple.

xxx

That's the only bad thing about Cameron. Maybe if we spelt it Kameron would it be better? Bloody PM screwing with baby names now on top of everything else

Same here sweetie!
Me and OH have only two choices, one for each sex.
I don't think they'll change but you never know! xxx

We only have one of each too and one of our names will have to go if baby has a certain colour hair! We definitely need a back up!

I had a few problems with how people pronounced Mia that's why I spell it the way I do but it's wasn't a major problem x

We had one name and then my mum ruined it and then chose another but it was literally one and we just stuck with it! Xps lurve your names x

Lovely names! we had 2 boys names and 1 girls name we then found out we were having a girl she was Tegan x

Love your choice of names! We used to know a Cameron , and his always got shortened to Camie, which was also lovely.

We only ever had one each lined up ready, and they always suited, I did have two spare names for my son Toby, (Zachary and Bryn) , purely incase he came out with huge ears, and would have trouble (Toby Jug)!
Phew - he was fine.. We actually used our girls name choice up with my son too! Toby Robin, (would have been Robyn if a girl).

Oh and I agree if an OH can't input himself in a time of 40 weeks, then tough you choose the names....
He can't poo poo your names if he can't come up with some himself I think. So hence I chose all my 4 kids 8 names, ha ha ha

We choose one boys name and one girls name just before we found out we were having a girl, i really love the name we have chosen so im hoping we dont change our mind, OH already calls it her to me (we are keeping it a secret from family and friends) x x

OH is forever poo-pooing my girls name choices!!

But after the party for my god-daughter's 6th birthday today I don't think I like Scarlet any more, she's a bolshy little madam who wasn't very well behaved and apparently also gives my GD a hard time at school :(

I love your names

Mia is a lovely girls' name. My brother and sister-in-law had that name down for a girl, but they're having a boy.

I think that one name for each is fine, and it's probably best if you don't say them too much in case you go off them! Cameron is a lovely name as well, the only thing that put me off is that it means crooked nose! In the end we've gone with Caleb... That means dog though so I suppose it's not much better!

Anyway, as long as you love both of the names, then one of each is fine!

xx

I really like both your choices. We only ever had one name for both of ours, no back ups! If you have chosen those names, by the time baby comes, I am sure they will feel right and you won't need a back up! xx
