so as not to steal B's thunder I thought I'd do this in a new page:

yesterday Lydia did 4 steps apparently but I wasn't there so I missed them, but then today she was stood up against the sofa, so I sat a little way away and held out my arms and called her to me, and she walked 5 steps and then kind of leaped into my arms.

I'm so proud of her! *tears forming lol*

I didn't get it on video though I'll have to whip out the video camera tomorrow and see if I can get her doing a few steps on film.

Congratulations - that's wonderful news! First steps are amazing aren't they??

Definitely get the camcorder ready for the next time - she'll be running before you know it!!
