Hi,
Af is never normally this late my longest cycle before was 31 days.
I did a test yesturday which was BFN but it was a boots own make, and error sign came on just before the resut so I dont trust it and am going to get a clearblue test today.

I've been feeling really sleepy and tearfull. I've also gots loads of sots that I don't normally get. But I've been under some stress the past few weeks ( we had an attempted brakein at home they didnt get in but the door was broken) so I might just be gettign myself over excited when its all just stres.

I'd leave it a couple of days and test again with one of the well known brands.

Used First Response the first time and Predictor the second time (as it was a double pack). I have no idea what my own cycle is anymore as I have used pills/injections/coils most of my sexually active life. I tried using a system called Persona years ago where you had to POAS throughout your cycle and it would tell you when you were ovulating, and you were supposed to avoid or use condoms round that time. First month I used it, I got an O on the screen about 14 days in. Great I thought! Then the next month, it was still going on 72 days with no AF.... got fed up of buying PTs and went back on the pill!

I've had this too - I'm usually 30 or 31 days, NEVER longer, but last month I had a 36 day cycle out of the blue. It does look as though the test you used was faulty though, so no harm in testing again with a branded one. If that's BFN, I'd say it could be the stress that's the cause.

Good luck!!

Thansk for the replys, I've had a really bad headache today so didn't get to the shops to buy a test ( I dont keep them in because i'd be too tempted to test early) so I'm going to try to wait til Friday before testing again.

got af today. on the bright side at least I got it before I spent money on another test.
