We had an earthquake too last night... at 4.03am in the morning.. but it was only tiny at 3.3 :rotfl: :rotfl: Woke me up though.. thought the baby was falling out of bed... We have loads and loads though so its not too bad, but this time the epicentre was just up the road... which is why it felt bigger than normal..

Maybe its the mid Atlantic ridge is letting off some steam?

Well, after the gale force winds last night that blew our garage door open, and wrecked the chicken houses,I firmly believe it is the end of the world

Well I certainly did last night, when I woke up to find the curtains billowing and the wind making this creepy sound... :rotfl: :rotfl:

Couldnt just be an eathquake could it morag ...do you have its epi center coordinates plotted on the longitude and latitude of a global map

I ended up with a motor bike in my garden this morning as the winds blew it off the street up against the trees/bushes in the middle of my garden!

2006 & 2007 had an earthquake in Cyprus, think they were both 4.8's or something. Remb the 1st one at 05:00am, woke up to my cat going cookoo then the building shaking enough for the things on my side table to fall off, this went on for about 3 mins.

That quake was 10km's off the ayia napa coast, 40km's down under the sea, I was in the middle of the island, about 40km's away.

The other one in 2007, I actually slept through, suppose I can say I slept through an earthquake, now ha lol That one was about 4 miles from me
