OMG! Man slips on grape and sues!!!!

I think the person who slipped on that grape is a prat! OK, yes, he pulled a tendon or twisted an ankle, something like that but i didn't threaten his life and that person is shouting to the world.

Yet a poor soldier comes back from Iraq, lost a leg and is only getting £130,000 for it. Do we hear that poor guy screaming like the grape man?

Nope............think that guy is just greedy.

:rotfl: Ahhh this world is a joy sometimes! The amount of times I have fallen on my arse I could be a millionaire by now.....I could sue because the pavement deformed my arse cheeks "its not coz I ate too many pies it was the slant in the pavement that done it to them!"

Here's the latest....

An accountant who claims he was seriously injured after slipping on a grape in Marks & Spencer has failed in his bid to win £300,000 in damages.

Alexander Martin-Sklan, 55, of Golders Green, north-west London, claimed he suffered a ruptured quadricep tendon and "adverse psychological effects and depression" from the injury.

His action, before Deputy Judge John Leighton Williams QC, was contested by the retail giant.

Mr Martin-Sklan, who represented himself at the High Court hearing, said a piece of squashed fruit was found on his right sandal after the fall at the Finchley Road branch of the store in June 2004.

He claimed it could have been picked up inside the shop or in the car park, but the judge ruled against him.

Mr Martin-Sklan, who now faces a costs bill of around £15,000, refused to comment after the judgement.
