Does anyone else OH have a ps3/xbox?
Mines does, and all he does is sit and play call of duty, or fifa, and when I try to get his attention I get blamed for him dying or loosing or something! And all he does is shout and swear at it, & I don't want that when baby is around, I don't even want it just now!

This get on anyone elses nerves or just me ? xx

mine did have 1 but he said the games was rubbish we got it when it 1st come out so the games have got better since we like to play mission games together when the kids are in bed so we will be buying a new 1 eventually

hahaha i have the ultimate gamer f an oh! he even works in gaming!!! in our living room we have . . . an xbox360 (limited addition halo reach) a PS3 a Game Cube and a PS1 slim! he mainly plays on his xbox, and he also likes COD, for me its not the swearing (he'd do that anyway!) it the shouting! and when i ask him not to shout he says "sorry i dont know im doing it" seconds later he'll be shouting again!!! im not sure how its going to work when babys here but we'll just have to slap them into shape if they dont behave :)

I feel for you lol! Any thing to do with a PC OH gets stressed at it! Argh i feel like jumping up and smashing it! x

My OH is obsessed! He'd play it every spare second he had before Aiden came along. I've put a ban on it and he can only play it when I say which is usually if I'm watching something in the other room.
It's so annoying when they shout at the telly, what's that gonna achieve?! The other "players" aren't gonna hear your "advice"!

Yup he has a ps3 hooked up to the internet and drives me insane!

:lol:gaffer tape works:lol::whistle::whistle::whistle:

i was laughing so much oh asked what was funny (he actually looked away from the xbox game hes playing) i said "next time he getts annoying im going to gaffer his mouth shut" :) to my supprise he said, "nothing else works so may as well try"!!!!

my hubby does , n everytime he used to go on it I used to stand in front of the telly lol or turn it off, hes back in a cpl if weeks so back to fun n games torturing him lol

yip my OH does and plays online with his little earphone n talking to his friends and shouting at other players very very sad lol talks on there more than he does to me some nights haha x

My OH doesnt do game consoles :) Thank God! we have a wii but rarely goes on it.. i think im on it more than him.... BUT instead i just have to put up with sky sports every single night!!! Football crazy.. well infact he will watch any sport!

I love to hide the cables when he is away at work and he doesn't get them back till I get a back massage or he makes me dinner  I don't do it all the time though! Love jumping infront of him when he is playing and dancing for him (just a silly bum wiggle) then he doesn't get angry cause he is just laughing  xx

Oh dear, I feel like I should be shouted at too cause I'm a big gamer :P
My OH is a full on nerd. He has an xbox and a gaming computer called 'Predator'.
He shouts and screams for the whole of Wales when he's playing games. Seriously. His mum goes mental at him for shouting and what not. I can be very aggressive myself when I'm playing games and get frustrated but I don't shout because I have respect for his mum as this is her household. I do say the odd swear word though.. :x

I also know how you feel because I have been blamed in the past for my OH dying on a game, but since being with him I've become a massive xbox fan so most of the time I'm playing with him and it's me that's shouting at him

Also, whenever he is on a game and I'm on my laptop trying to have a lovely conversation with the ladies on Pregnancy Forum, my OH starts nudging me and calling my name a hundred times to get my attention just so he can show me something that's happening in the game (like now). Ahah it's a pain in the backside but I love him!

You know what you should say to him?
.. "I'm going to let you sit there and play games all day because you won't be doing it for much longer, not when there's a baby around to look after!"

OH is still playing it and he has to go to work in 2 hours, so he isn't even sleeping! But if it was just me and him he would be sound

Ahh its fine tiffany, I watch OH play & that, it doesn't bother me, and fill in for him when he needs to go to the loo, im the major computer geek though, me & my brother built up our own gaming computer, and do repairs for people on the side :lol:I have to say though, the obsenities are dreadful! People he doesnt he even know are wee pricks ! xx

Ahahaha my OH just read about your OH not sleeping and he said, "Sounds like me and you". He's right though. I can recall lots of times where we've gone to bed really late in the morning due to playing games (bit like tonight as he's playing on his pc and I'm playing games as well as on here) I can even recall times last year where we would play games all night, not sleep, get on the bus to town and buy a takeaway breakfast! Haha madness, but lot's of memories :)

Yeah I'm looking to get myself a gaming computer at the moment, doubt I'd be able to build one myself, although I heard it was cheaper? We've got about £700 to spend :/ My OH has built one in the past but still not sure whether to get a desktop pc or a laptop (we know laptops aren't perfect for running games unless it's a gaming laptop itself). Ah here I am rambling on :oooo:

Yeah online gaming with other players is entertaining to play and watch.
My OH has wanted to kill other players in the past for 'teabagging' him on Halo Reach.
Hahaha :D it's funny though cause most of the people that we're playing with are like 12 years old, screaming at us through the headset cause we killed them

My OH has a PS3, Xbox360, there is an old broken xbox just sitting there which he claims he's going to take the hard drive out of, a gamecube, a PSP, a Nintendo DS... phew!
He is on the xbox most but to be fair he does limit his time on there, he mainly uses it at the weekends and uses xbox live to talk to his friends etc.

I actually don't mind so much as sometimes I enjoy playing, too! But if he's on there for a long period of time I just go into the bedroom and watch what I want on TV, or take my laptop in there and have 'me' time, teehee :)

I'm glad I got rid of the ones who were like that.

Mine sits on FB and a funny simple gaming site, but there's no actual gaming. I hate how the xboxers tend to also sit there with their mates round too - not only is it noisy and annoying but there goes sitting on the couch in yer undies, too! My OH only has a few friends in Wales, and they have kids, so it's all good - we both sort of get lonely though.

I have a Wii but he got stressed when I tried to show him how to play, so I rarely go on it :(

I know the feeling, when all the boys come round for a drink the ps3 gets brought downstairs and they all sit on it for hours  x
