Hello.
I remember seeing your story from before and have just liked the Facebook page. I manage a disabled children's home and looked after a little girl with birth trauma when I was qualifying as a learning disability nurse. She made my day and taught me so much and is one of the reasons I do my job so well now. I love children with pmld and hate when ppl ask what quality of life they have ... My answer always is ... Their quality of life is what I give them !! I think any parent of a disabled child is amazing and I love helping them in the job I do.
Don't be afraid to ask for help even though I am sure you will be able to manage extremely well. I know lots of families with more than one child with one of them being disabled and they just make it work. No day is ever the same but they really are incredible and so are you.
I wish you all the best and will now look forward to see your little girl develop on Facebook xx
