Sounds like BH's as they can be painful How are you feeling today hun?

sorry it wasn't the real thing, it's really disappointing when you think things are happening, only for it to stop

On the plus side, like the others have said, labour normally starts off more gradually than that, you get a few hours of period pain, and then the contractions build up gentally so you have a chance to get used to them

Hello

I imagined contractions to feel more like my miscarriage, I am half thinking this was either really bad pulled ligaments, baby hitting a nerve combined with a braxton hicks....so I would think it was a contraction cos the tightening was there with the pain.

It was intense straight away, no build up and because I paniced I could have made it worse.

oh bugger....totally feel silly you know.

Still lots of painless tightenings and on off mild period cramping so things are happening in there, just not labour.
