Was it Braxton Hicks?

On Friday my bump went really tight, painfully so, and i went hot an cold (goose bumps even though it was boiling out!) and i felt sick, it really worried me. I went and lay down and it passed, but it went on for about 30 mins, which makes me doubt that it was braxton hicks, but i have no idea what else it could have been. Do you think i could have had a few in a row and not realised? Or could it have been something else?

Baby has been REALLY active today, which has helped reassure me a bit that nothing is wrong.

Let me know what your midwife says as this is kinda what im getting but it started off with if i laid down it goes but yesterday i got it really bad my OH was going to take me up hospital :S x

MW didnt really have an answer, she said its just being pregnant and these things just happen. She said as long as you recover and baby is moving, not to worry. I havent had it again, but i would say if you do get it again and you are worried, either phone your MW or go the hospital - better to be safe xxx
