Oh how I long...

to be 20 weeks pregnant!

I feel like ive been 16 weeks forever! and its only been 3 days!

Why does this part take soooo long! I just want to know what I'm having (or just confirmation that, yes it is infact a boy & I was right all along) & to have a nice little bump thats not squidgy!

and to say 'oh im 20 weeks yeah' when people ask!

and to be taken seriously if i go to hospital with pains and not shoved to A&E rather than the maternity and labour ward, and having to wait 5 hours because they dont think im important enough as Im under 20 weeks.

And to feel a kick or some sort of movement for reassurance that he or she is in there and is doing fine.

Oh and to be half way.

I dont ask for much

After my 16 week appointment, I thought I'd never hit 20 weeks. And then by week 17 I got so darn swamped at work that I didn't have time to dwell on it. Then after that, week 18 and 19 flew by and before I knew it, I was going in for my 20 week scan!

So I guess my best advice would be to just try not to think about it (HAH! not likely..). Other than that, just sit tight and it will be here before you know it

Yes there is times where pregnancy drags, im finding that especialy now but enjoy being pregnant whilst you can it is such a short period of time in comparison. You are doing something amazing, growing a human being your children are the only ones who know what its like to hear your heart beat from the inside, whilst they are growing enjoy every second because its something that you and your LO will be the only ones who share. Soon 20 weeks will come and go, then 24, then you'll be in tri 3 and then then babys here. I can't wait to meet my LO but im really trying not to wish pregnancy away as i know i'll miss it once shes here xx

I found up to the 20 week mark really dragged also - especially as I had hardly any symptoms and was really late feeling movement and sprouting a bump - and like you say, your pregnancy gets taken alot more seriously after 20 weeks. But once I got there time seem to have been going by a lot quicker - I look and feel pregnant which I love and I can't believe I'm only 7 weeks away from maternity leave and 2 days away from joining trimester 3 - eeeek!! Hang in there ladies, you're not far off now xx

Me too!! I should refuse to sit on comp and look at websites, need to go and get a book to read or watch trash tv, any thing but.....waiting to be told whether is boy or girl. And I am sooo longing to have a boy!!!Ahhhh ......and yes I am 16 weeks and 3 days too, and it has been too long !! By the end of next week I'll be 17 weeks and 3 days .... where the 20 week scan! So tempted to go private ...
