soo left me feeling awful i tried to laugh it off with 'well im 24 weeks now over half way', and hes like well most pregnant women have a lovely round bump, cheers made me feel loads better. he knows im over emotional at the moment.

does anyone else have an insensitive OH??

That's awful!!!! so sorry ur OH is being like that!! Does he not know how sensitive you are right now?? F*cking men  !!

Ps I don't know if I read it right but I think u said he hates it when u put a bit of weight on... That's just plain nasty babe sorry I couldn't not comment on that.. I've kept it as nice as possible lol!

   u deserve to be told you are beautiful every day no matter what!!

Aw hun... dont let it get you down. You should tell him that it upsets you and that if he cared he would keep his negative feelings to himself.

There are some days i have a nice round bump and others i look like ive put weight on. Just last night OH said to me flipping heck you look super prego today and then this morning baby must of been hiding and i just had a jelly belly.

I was at the bank and one of the ladies asked if i was going out over the weekend and i replied oh no i dont go out that often now im pregnant....

your pregnant? was her reply and she couldnt believe i was 21 weeks.
That made me a little gutted because i know how flat my belly was before and how different it is now.

x

He's out of order. I'd be spitting in his dinner....but then again I'm just mean.

Gosh, I dont know if he is an arse or if you are hormonal, it all depends on how it was said. My husband jokes about me getting a massive bum and how I just look fat, but I know he adores me to bits and its just banter. He would be really contrite if i got upset, but I dont, I just hit him ;-)

Definetly out of order! Especially the putting on a bit of weight comment!

However, I feel sorry for men a little (only a little!) as they don't really understand how we are truly feeling. I bet they also feel pretty useless when we are suffering symptoms etc. I know my hubby does when im busy being sick. Nothing really changes for them until the baby arrives. Men have it very lucky. One of my male friends said surely having a baby can't be worse then being kicked in the balls. Ohhh, I wanted to slap him!

Try not to let him get to you hun. Maybe just explain to him that those comments were hurtful. Hopefully he'll see sense and be a bit more considerate next time! Big hugs!xx

Men can be very insensitive. But even my OH who normally likes banter have been warned not to tell me i look fat (only I am allowed to moan about it).

He was thanking me last night for carrying or baby as it is hard work! Make sure he knows how hard it is

I've warned my OH too lol we do love our banter but that's not a good thing to say when pregnant! Maybe your OH wasn't thinking, he was trying to open up to you but needs to word it better next time..
