UPDATE

Hey girls.

Just to let u know I was finally taken to labour ward at 1am on thurs, waters were broken using gas and air at 2am. I was 10cm dilated by 10am and we started to push at 1pm (on midwives recommendation).

Pushing didn't work as baby was too big and got stuck so I ended up with an emergency section. It's really very uncomfortable recovering but hey ho,

Another issue is that our poor baby has swallowed merconium and keeps being sick green bile so has been transferred to yorkhill overnight as a safety thing. Our first 24hrs as family have certainly been interesting x

Congratulations on the birth of your little one, sorry to read it was such a traumatic one for you both in the end. Hope baby is doing well and home from Yorkhill soon. Didn't realise you were from Glasgow LynneK, what maternity hospital were you in?

I've been booked in for induction at the Princess Royal tomorrow.
